Yolande traveled extensively through Southern Africa and frequently visits places off the beaten track where she discovers gems to share with her readers. She feels most alive when camping under the African stars with only the sounds of the bush as accompanying music. From off-road adventures into the Namib Desert to the sub-tropical coastline of South Africa, camping remains the cheapest and best way to explore the diverse African cultures and wildlife.
